We are Deity. Its true that a picture is worth a thousand words, and with that phrase in mind we try to paint a very vivid picture. As a band, as well as individuals, we attempt to really capture all of the aspects each one of us is best at expressing and combine them musically the best way we can. We always experiment and try new and innovative ideas while still retaining our fundamental sound. Our initial release titled 'Genesis' is high energy, theatrical, heavy, engaging, and takes you on a journey throughout the EP from start to finish. Being musicians, we want to constantly make you feel how we were feeling when the songs were written no matter what we were writing about, weather it's a softer ballad or a frantic onslaught. We believe the key to being a good musician is being diverse, which is precisely what we try to show throughout this EP. As some of you may know, these songs were written and composed in 2011 and 2012, which gives us plenty of time to write new material throughout the years up until now. We have matured and grown both as people and musicians throughout these few years and it has really shown through with our more current music. Our goal is not just to play and present music, but to give our fans and listeners an unforgettable and exclusive experience. We are Deity, and we will always strive to take everyone who listens to us on an adventure through music weather it be a single or a full length...and we're just getting started.
